Chapter 1
The Full moon imitated threw my car front mirror. Bleaching the sky it duplicated daytime. It always reminded me of the song ‘Freaks come out at night’ by Whodini. It created an image of werewolves, vampires and all of those silly make believe creatures our parents use to tell.
"We are never going to that movie theater again." The haunting image was stuck in my mind. It would take forever for that horrible image to get out of my mind. The steering wheel was rotated left. The Volvo was a rental that we bought for the road trip.
The flashback popped in my head. Maggie and I took a detour. Stopping at Amc Cinemas to see 'The greatest movie ever' as Maggie puts it. She was one of my best friends. Well in my case the only. She was like a sister to me. From the time we met one-year ago we became inseparable. Over that short time she knew all of my secrets and I knew all of hers.
As we were watching the movie an old couple was in front of us. The old woman was sitting on the man's lap; you could practically hear the women moaning as they were kissing. Overtime my eyes would focus on the screen they would always go back looking at the couple. There was a blanket covering what they were doing under the blanket and that was something that I was grateful for.
My nose was wrinkled up at them. This wasn't the time or place for them to be 'getting it on.' There was a reason God made beds. For sleeping, relaxing and other personal needs. Using my elbow I shoved Maggie in the ribs. Her eyes still lingered onto the screen. Shoving her again I waited until she turned to me slightly pissed off. "What." Using my fingers I pointed to the intimate couple.
She looked at what my fingers were pointing to. A crocked smile filled her face. Her breath tingled on my ear as she leaned in and whispered, “That is so cute."
Rolling my eyes I shook my head. That was always her answer for every couple she seen. The same crocked smile, the same words, and there was a hint of sorrow for some unknown reason.
"I'm going to the restroom." Standing up, Maggie moved her legs so I could pass by. Exciting the small theater room, I made my way to a restroom only to be pushed down. Staring up I looked to see who had pushed me. The back of his ginger short hair and his broad chest was facing me. You could see the person muscles in his arms as he sped walk away two other men were right in front of him going the exact same paste.
Lifting my own self up I dusted myself off. "Oh don't worry about it I'm all right. Thanks for helping me up, you’re so kind." Mumbling out loud hoping he would hear me.
Changing my mind about going into the bathroom I went and sat down by a bench. Playing with my nails until the time passed by and Maggie came out of the theater. Excitement was filled all over her face. “That movie was-" As she stops she began to tense up. She was having one of her moments again. Knowing the drill I rushed to the car. Maggie not even an inch behind me. As I sat down in the car I locked the door. "You know we can't keep doing this. If you can never give me a reason why then what’s the point?" Maggie was still stiff glancing around out the window she lets out a sigh. “Could we please not talk about it? Just drive."
Doing as she said I started the engine. “Maggie you can always tell me anything. You know that. If there is anything bothering-" She stops me by placing her hand in the air. "Drop it." Mumbling a fine I just stare at the road as the car moved forward.
After a few minutes of driving in silence the atmosphere was still thick but Maggie voice removed it. "Why did you leave for so long? The movie was so fantastic you should have stuck around for the ending."
"I would if hearing that woman moan and skin flying everywhere defiantly ruined the movie for me." Shaking my head in disgust, who does that in a movie theater? Apparently they do.
"Relax granny they were just having 'fun'." Maggie said. From the corner of my eye I could see her smiling.
"That was fun?" I repeated...
"Like the saying goes, 'live like your dying'. In their case there is no telling when it will happen." I frowned as she said it. It was true. There was no telling when they could die. It could be at this very moment as they were having their 'fun'.
"Besides i think it was cute. Grandpa knows how to get his freak on."
Laughing lightly I shook my head. "Please don't ever say that again."
Stopping at the red light,
"You’re going the wrong way. Go on the highway." Nodding my head I did as she said. We have been on the road for a while now. It was already around midnight. My butt was sore from sitting in one place for so long. Running my hands through my hair I sighed. I should have been use to this since we all ways go on one whenever Maggie starts acting strange. She says she hates being in one place for a long time. And since I had nothing better to do with my boring life I started to join her on her trips.
Scanning the highway there was no one on the road besides the car behind us and well us.
Taking out a CD from the glove compartment Maggie placed it in the CD player. Music began to play through the whole car. I couldn't help but to smile. It was our song.
The beat of the music began to make a fast rhythm. The drums settling in, next with the guitar, while Maggie sang I sang the chorus parts.
"Your eyes piercing bright like the stars. Colorful, colorful, colorful."
"And I~"
"Want you for the way your, you."
"And I~"
"Just want to be the best for you."
"And I’m~"
"Sweating from my hands and feet"
"I'm just ready to go on my knees for you.
And tell you, tell you, tell you."
Maggie and I both sang in union. “I love you because you're the real you."
After the song ended we both started to laugh on how dead on we knew the song. I couldn't keep the grin off of my face.
"See that is the smile I was looking for." Maggie said. Even though I couldn't see her emotions I knew she was smiling right now. Changing lanes I glanced in the rear-view mirror at the car behind us. The car changed lanes with us again right behind us.
For some reason this didn't feel right. Was someone following us? The car was the same car that has been with us since we left the theaters. Surly it wasn't a coincidence that, that person was going the same place we were. Testing my theory I changed lanes again and the car followed.
"Maggie I think someone flowing us."
She turns around and looks behind at the car. I could have sworn I heard a low growl come from her but I shrugged it off. As she sat forward again her face became a little pale.
"Brooke go faster."
"But I am already going 80, we already past the speed limit."
"Brooke!" Her yelling caused me to jump in panic. Doing as she said I stepped harder on the gas pedal. The car behind us began to speed up to us. The car sped up and rammed its head of its car into our end. I glimpsed at Maggie. She looked scared just like how i am feeling, but somehow it looked like this was affecting her more than me. My heart rate became to accelerate. I pressed the pedal down harder.
Another car came from out of nowhere and screech to a stop in front of our car. Letting out a scream I pressed on the brakes. The pressure pulled us forward as we crashed into the car.
The airbags popped out soften the blow of the crash.
Rubbing my head Maggie spoke to me.
"Brooke are you ok?" Maggie looked at me distressed.
"Yeah I’m fine." I said, rubbing my sore neck.
Footsteps made their way to our car. All the concern was washed away from her face replaced with seriousness. “Brooke when I tell you to run run do you hear me?" Before I could respond my car door flew open.
A snarl came from Maggie. Her eyes changed from a light brown to black.
A snarl came from Maggie.
A handsome man stood there. His messy brown hair went well with his picturesque face. He was staring at Maggie with hate. "You're the famous rogue we all have heard about. Many packs would kill to get their hands on you."
"Maggie what is he talking about." I kept my eyes on the man blocking my way out the car.
The moment he heard my voice his dark emerald eyes gleamed in the dark. It drew me in as he looks at me with pure lust. His pink lips moved apart as he said one word that changed everything.
"Mate" His husky voice made a chill run down my spine. I couldn't help but to keep gazing at him. He was one of a kind.

The man growled once again at Maggie. Roughly pulling me out, he stud in front of me holding my hand blocking my way to Maggie. A jolt of energy ran through my hand as he touched me. His hands were so big compared to mine. They were rough yet gentle. I liked the feeling. It just felt so right. Shaking my head I knew this wasn't the time to be thinking about some random dude I just met.
Two other men came from the car that we crashed into. Making their way to Maggie they pulled out her side of the car, pulling her out. How is that possible? Why are they doi ng this? And most importantly how was I going to pay for all the damage to the car? I was surly not going to and neither was Maggie. The only people to blame were them. I am confused and pissed.
Pulling my hand free I rammed him into the car.
"What the hell is wrong with you? You could have killed us." I let the anger rise out of me as I said it.
The man I pushed to our car door turned back to me. Anger and a hint of sadness were filled in his eyes." I would never hurt you. You are mine."
"I am not yours. I am my selves. And who are you to come over here making us crash than boldly say that I’m yours."
"You are mine!" He grabbed on to my hands and tried to tug me close. Taking no time to hesitate I kicked him in his man hood.
"Brooke run!" Hearing Maggie voice I looked to her. Maggie was struggling with the two men. Somehow she got loose but then a second later she was pushed harshly into my car. As she struggled once more one of the men punched her in her face. I wasn't going to leave my friend with these creeps.
I stud they're thinking. Someone hand wrapped around my waist and pulled me into them. I let out a scream but they used their hand to concealment it up and dragged me away.
Stopping by their car the person used one of their hands to open the door placing me in gently and closing it. I tried to open the door but it was on child lock. I grunted in annoyance. Why am I so stupid? Every person in the world wouldn't have hesitated if they had a chance to run yet I did. Wait to go Brooke.
The other side of the car door open and Maggie was now sitting by me. There was blood running down from her hair-line on her head.
I started to feel dizzy. There was one thing that I couldn't stand and that was blood. I could feel myself going in and out of darkness. I closed my eyes taking a deep breath and then exhaling. There was something about blood that made me sick. Maybe it was the smell or the way it looked.
"Brooke are you ok?" Maggie voice filled into my ears.
Looking at her I was going to respond but more blood came running down making its way to her neck. Taking in a deep breath again vomit started flowing out of my mouth landing on the car floor. Nonstop it kept on flowing out as I thought of the blood again.

We have been in the car for a few hours now. There was none on the road. Trees were encircled everywhere. The car reeks of vomit and my hands were soaring from the handcuffs they recently put on me.
The man who had placed me in this car was driving. Once in a while I would catch him staring at me and when our eyes meet he goes back focused on the road ahead. He had the most beautiful eyes I ever see. Every single second they would pull me in. For some reason it was very soothing. I felt safe for some absurd reason but in reality I was far from it.
Maybe the car crash did something to me or maybe it was Maggie blood. I honestly didn't know.
Then it hit me.
"Where are we going?"
"We are going home." As he said it he looked up in the rear-view mirror. We as in us?
"Why are you doing this?" The question had run through my head so many times. Why us? There are millions of people in the world and we were the not so lucky ones he had picked. He kept silent.
"If its money that you want I will pay you." Trying to reach into my pocket I pulled out what I had, ten dollars. "I only have ten on me but if we can go back to my car there should be more-just please let us go."
Instead of looking at the mirror he kept his eyes on the road. "I don't want your money."
"Then what the hell do you want?" I said getting a little frustrated.
This time he looked at the rear-view mirror again. His words game out firm with confidence. "You, I want you and that rogue-but mostly you.

We have been on the road since yesterday stopping only to eat and to use the restroom, but lost our bathroom privileges because of the two times we tried to escape. You should have seen the site. Maggie's ass was in the air as she was stuck in the bathroom window. Her butt was the size of a King Kong. I tried pushing that watermelon sized truck of a behind harder but the man came in and found us. The next time we did it the bathroom didn't have a window. So we improved. Somehow we ended up with employee clothing. It didn't end pretty. Food was thrown and lots of screaming, mostly from scared customers.
While we were being kidnapped, I tried to get enough information I could. I found out the man name driving was Blaine and the Chinese guy in the passenger's seat was Caleb. The other man who was in the other car was Chris. The more time we spent with them the more I got comfortable. Maggie felt the opposite. She kept quite all the time when we were with them. She had a straight face the whole road trip, which I knew so well. It was her thinking face.
I was now thinking we were lost. We have left the road now and were heading into the woods. There was a light passage way that you could tell had been driven on a lot. I made a mental note on every one of my surroundings. Just in case Maggie and I had to run.
"We are here." Blaine said, talking to us. Looking around there was no sign of a house just tree and more trees. Who would live all the way out here in the middle of nowhere? Slowly the trees decreased and a golden gate came into sight. There were a few men in all black standing by the gate. When they see our car in view they opened the gate letting us in.
The car came to a stop and Blaine and Caleb got out of the car. Both of back seat doors open and we were taken out. "Take that rouge away." Blaine said to Caleb. Nodding his head he did what Blaine said. Even with the handcuffs Maggie putted up a fight but Caleb was to strong. Using my strength I pulled Blaine off of me, I ran to her side hitting Caleb trying to get Maggie free. A pair of hands wrapped themselves around my waist and pulled me back, keeping me from helping Maggie.
