As usual, he is surrounded by reporters wanting to hear more stories about his gunfighting days. “It was in this very courtroom,” he tells the reporters, “maybe I was even sitting in this same chair, but the story I got to tell you didn’t start here, but over in Sheriff Hunter’s jail. I was sitting in my jail cell waiting for the hangman to send for me.”
